The rising cost of books.

I've noticed a disturbing rise in the cost of literature. Now, while most of you are going to be like "LOL INFLATION", I beg to differ. The real issue is, people are starting to get greedy, and the market is going to suffer for it. People will look at the books, and only go for cliches, books they know they will enjoy, due to the increasingly massive costs. This is a bad thing, it will cripple the literature industry, and leave it like the video game industry. Sequel, after sequel, after sequel. Admittedly, the video game industry is getting a indie resurgence, but that is a topic for another day.

We can solve this issue in a few ways. The first, most extreme, and obvious, is to drop prices. I disagree with this. The second, and less extreme, is a resurgence of paperback. Once again, I disagree. Instead, I ask for a balance of both. More paperbacks, and go back to the days of 7 dollar books. Before you go "WTF INFLATION UR DUMB", hear me out here reader. For staters, it would result in more book sales, since people would think "Oh, I could get MORE books!" and wind up buying, and thus paying, more then they would with current prices anyways. Also, it would help the little guy, with people being less afraid to experiment with new book types, encouraging a more diverse reading pallet. Finally, it would put a end to the unpredictable at times sales of books, ensuring more stable profits, and less spikes when books become discounted.

TL;DR: Publishers, fix prices, before they blow up in your faces.

Flash Game Review: I love traffic

So, I love traffic can be best summed up as the Frogger from hell. Only this time, Your controlling stoplights to prevent other cars from crashing into other cars.

GAMEPLAY

Rather simple. Click on the stoplight, and it turns green. Click on it again,it turns red. Simple, right? Its rather simple at first, but latter levels will drive you bonkers, trying to get it done. But there is something funny about crashing all those cars into each other. After you complete a level, it give you a random fact on a random animal.

SOUNDTRACK

Cars have accurate noises, Crashes have great noises, The trumpets that blare when you complete alevel rock. But you HAVE to turn off the music. It loops a 10 second Benny Hill type tune that gets old after 5 seconds.

Flash Game Review: Amorphous+

I seriously need a new title for my flash game reviews.

GAMEPLAY

So, Amorphous+ is apparently a upgrade of a older flash game called Amorphous. Once you start, you'll notice you have a practice mode, a "Kill X to win" mode, and a endless mode. Simple enough.
The enemies are blobs. Some are harmless, some spit acid at you, some spike you, etc. The enemy variety is pretty, but deadly. Like a sort of killer rainbow. You're a one hit wonder though, so at later levels, this game can become very, very hard. Fortunately, your not alone. You have a huge sword that you can use to squish the blobs. You can unlock "Awards" to help you kill said blobs via getting medals by doing all sorts of stuff. The medals to unlock them can be anywhere from easy(Kill a enemy) To obscure (Pause for five minutes) To simply "Why would you do that?" (hit your sword on something hard 50 times)

SOUNDTRACK

Half of the songs don't fit, a fourth will give you a headache, and the rest work just fine.

Amorphus+ is a fun enough game, just the soundtrack will probably give you a headache.

Gameplay: 9/10
Soundtrack: 3/10
Graphics: 8.5/10
